Typhoon Goni has absolutely exploded in intensity over the course of the last 12hrs, now a Cat 3 via JTWC the storm runs the risk of becoming a Cat 5 Super Typhoon Prior to landfall. Those out ahead of it need to start to prepare now especially in those cities in right front quadrant of the storm. From Dingalan to Casiguran a large storm surge and damaging winds is possible based on the forecast today.
